I tried doing the same thing on a co-worker's MacBook, also running Leopard, that was causing me headaches. Everything worked fine.</p> <p>Maybe something about my installation didn't go right. Maybe some configuration from my old Tiger Terminal.app conflicted with the new app. Maybe it's a PowerPC-specific problem. I'll stick with multiple windows since that is doable with human hands on a keyboard. Should work like Firefox. cmd+number is tabs, cmd+tilda is windows.
